Our first official potluck since the pandemic!

When black lives matter, all lives matter. Gethsemane is committed to learning how to be anti-racist and will fight alongside and will stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters of color. P.S. There are no white people in the Bible...

Our first official potluck since the pandemic!
Welcome
As members of the ELCA, we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. With our hands, we do God’s work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus Christ’s name throughout the world.
-
We are a church that belongs to Christ. There is a place for you here.
-
We are a church whose unity is in Jesus Christ, who gathers us around word and water, wine and bread.
-
We are a church that believes God is calling us into the world - together
-
We are a church that is deeply rooted - and always being made new.

ELCA Anti-Racism Pledge: As church we are called to confess the sin of racism, condemn the ideology of white supremacy, and strive for racial justice and peace. Beyond statements and prayers, we are called to also act and respond to injustices. Gethsemane joins the ELCA in inviting you to sign the pledge and commit yourself to action.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change... The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge."
~Psalm 46:1-2, 7
